Dawn

Dawn is the founder of ParentFuel. For over 16 years, she navigated life as a solo parent to three children. Now newly remarried, she’s embracing the joys and challenges of building a blended family, a journey that’s equal parts adventure, growth, and grace.

With a heart for parenting and a passion for faith-filled living, Dawn is deeply committed to justice, restoration, and helping others step fully into who God created them to be. Above all, she simply loves Jesus and longs for others to know and love Him too.

Meet the Trustees

ParentFuel has the most amazing group of people who serve as part of the Board of Trustees. They help guide, advise and pray for both the project and the people who ParentFuel reaches.

Chair of Trustees

Kim Fearnley

Kim is married to James. They have 5 children and a little baby Grandchild. She has been a foster carer for 10 years and a nurse in the local hospital. Kim has a wealth of experience working with children & families in a nurturing role. Kim loves her family & Jesus.

Deputy Chair

Amy Woodfield

Amy is married to Ben and they have 3 children. She has spent the last 20 years working in a range of settings; youth projects, prisons, urban communities & schools. She has worked alongside clinical psychologists, key workers & school staff to support children, young people & their families. Amy specialises in trauma & attachment & is passionate about how Creative Therapies facilitate trauma recovery. Amy qualified as a HCPC reg. Dramatherapist in 2010 & is trained in Clinical Supervision. Amy loves people & Jesus.

Treasurer

Jean Barrass

Jean has 2 children and 4 grandchildren and loves to spend time with them all. She offers a huge wealth of experience after successfully setting up Reach in 2013, for which she is the CEO of the Children & Families side of the charity. Jean loves a frothy coffee & Jesus.

Secretary

Justin Kay

Justin is married to Dawn and they have 5 children between them. He works as a Project Manager for a large construction company during the day; and at the weekends he loves nothing more than outdoor adventures. Justin loves Jesus and coffee.

Social Media Specialist

Jacob Savidge

Jacob serves on the Board as our youngest member. His insight into social media and relevant media production is invaluable to ParentFuel. He is a member of the Message Band Nxt Chaptr and is passionate about Jesus & cars.

HR & Theological Advisors

Jo & Johnny Haigh

Whilst not serving on the Trustee Board, these two people give their skills & expertise to help support the vision of ParentFuel. Jo has been a HR expert for over 20 years; and Johnny has been a pastor for over 20 years. They love people & are passionate about people knowing Jesus more.
